The new coronavirus has no universal symptoms, although according to WHO recommendations and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the most common signs are dry cough, fever, and breathing problems.

But in connection with the signs of Covid-19 dermatologists in France believe that some symptoms of the disease may manifest on the skin.

Experts from the Dermatologists' Union in France think that coronavirus can cause unusual symptoms on the skin as well. Among these symptoms are urticaria and skin rashes.

Dermatologists have noticed that skin rashes are immediate and are accompanied by pain, and there may be sores, which are caused by urticaria.

More than 400 dermatologists have teamed up to discuss the possible link between these signs and coronavirus. They point out that many patients treated for urticaria and wounds caused by them then showed signs of Covid-19.

Skin problems are not the first unusual sign of coronavirus. Doctors around the world have previously reported two other signs of the disease. According to reports, patients affected by Covid-19 completely lose their sense of smell and taste.

Even dermatologist Brunilda Bardhi, invited today to "My Story" with Mirela Milori, said that, for at least two weeks, doctors around the world have noticed that Covid-19 shows signs on the skin. As Bardhi said, doctors have reported cases of Covid-19 infections, which have had special marks on the skin. Such signs may be; urticaria, microthrombi in blood vessels, allergic dermatitis which are not typical of the skin or even small drops of blood.
