13 cases have been confirmed with COVID-19 in prison 313 in Tirana, after the discovery of the first prisoner in this institution. In total, there are 29 new cases out of 240 tests performed during 24 hours, of which 20 are in Tirana, including prison 313, 7 in Kruja, employees in tailoring and their families, while the other 2 in the city of Shkodra.
As noted earlier by the experts of the Technical Committee, with the easing of measures there has been an increase in new cases of infected people, however, according to them the situation is equally controlled. This is because, according to the representative of the Institute of Public Health, Rovena Daja, the new cases are located in two hearths that are being monitored and followed by field epidemiologists. So far, 6,509 suspected cases have been tested and of these have been positively confirmed with COVID-19, 663 cases.
While there were 29 new cases of infected people, 29 were the number of healed, a figure that has gone to a total of 385, with 5 cities that have been "cured" (Berat, Lezha, Mirdita, Rrogozhina and Tropoja) .
However, although there has been an increase in infected people, the number of hospitalized patients has decreased. At two COVID hospitals, 34 patients are currently receiving services, 6 less than the day before. More specifically, there are currently 26 inpatient infectious disease services, of which 4 patients are in intensive care. At the COVID 2 "Shefqet Ndroqi" hospital, there are 8 hospitalized patients. 4 patients are in intensive care, in serious condition, while 4 patients are in the ward.
