The story of Albulena and Renes is one of those stories we only see in romance movies. Two young people who meet at school part ways to reunite when no one has thought of it. Today they are a man and a woman, living in Zurich, Switzerland, where their love story began. Albulena is originally from Kosovo, but has been in Switzerland for 6 years, while Rene is Swiss.
Many years ago the two met in New York, where they had gone to study English, at the same school, where they stayed for 6 months. Surprisingly there they met only once, during a dinner of a mutual friend. However, at the time Albulena never thought that in the future Rene would be her husband. To him, he was simply a more well-known Swiss from New York. Moreover, she had no interest in meeting anyone at the time. However, after returning to Switzerland, they kept in touch, but always friendly.
It took Albulena and Rene five years to meet again.
"After 5 years, a mutual friend, whom we had known in New York, came from Paris to work for a year in Zurich. It so happened that I was also there for work. So we did a 'New York Reunion', where I met René again. From that moment on, I started talking regularly with René, â?Albulena said.
So one meeting brought the other and the more they got to know each other the more Albulena and Rene fell in love. After some time of connection, the moment of proposal came. Rene made sure it was a romantic and memorable proposal for both.
It happened during a trip to a mountain in Switzerland, where Rene chose to ask the big question. A question that took Albulena by surprise, even though she had known the answer for a long time.
Then the wedding plans began. They agreed that the wedding should take place in Albania, a country with which Albulena has had a special connection since childhood. They chose Class AV Events because they wanted to make sure the wedding would be as they had dreamed. Since they were far away, they knew that only Class could be trusted with the most important event for them.
"Rene understands very well and respects my culture, as well as the love I have for Kosovo and Albania. I really liked that thing from the beginning. It is very open and understandable, so he agreed to have the wedding in Golem, Durrës. There I spent my holidays as a child and had very fond memories. It was a simple wedding, with many guests from Switzerland. We are all very happy and thanks to Class everything went very well, "said Albulena.
The wedding was organized near the sea and was a combination of classic and modern style. The colors that dominated the decor were white, green and some touches of blush pink. The environment had a great space and stunning views. On the tables stood some tall structures, from which hung white and green flowers. Candles with a little touch of gold gave a luxurious touch to the decor that gave the idea of a garden surrounded by greenery.
The altar had as its background the endless sea and was conceived as a garden with white paths and yes white flowers with green leaves, arranged in a circle. At sunset, Albulena and Rene exchanged vows and promises written by each, making this so important wedding moment more intimate. They promised eternal love in the presence of the people most dear to them, and this was followed by a celebration until the early hours of the morning.
Earlier this year, the couple decided to have their honeymoon. Since they like to get to know different places and cultures, they chose to go to Phuket, Thailand. She describes the month of Albulena as a wonderful experience, as she calls her wedding, which was a dream come true.
