The news that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik will become parents for the first time is making the rounds of the media, while the couple has chosen not to react. But Gigi's mother, Yolanda Hadid, recently confirmed the news. In an interview with German media RTL Boulevard, referring to the death of her mother, Yolanda said:
"It simply came to our notice then. One soul is sent and another comes to life. We feel very blessed. I can't wait to be a grandmother. "
Last August, her mother, Gigi's and Bella's grandmother, passed away after battling cancer.
Meanwhile, as for the baby that will come to life, it was initially said that it was a boy, while later ET confirmed that Gigi and Zayn will have a daughter.
