The Ministry of Health through Eugena Tomini has announced new cases with COVID-19 for the last 24 hours. According to her, 171 people have been tested in the last 24 hours, of which only seven have tested positive. In total the number of infected has gone to 789.

A total of 31 patients have been admitted to Infectious Diseases Hospital 1 and 2, including seven in intensive care. According to Tomin, most active patients are being followed up by family doctors. Meanwhile, a total of 519 patients have been cured, while 239 are active.

The new cases, 7, are in three districts of the country. Five of them are in Tirana, one in Kruja, and one in Kukës.

So far, 31 citizens have lost the battle with the disease, despite the efforts of medical staff.
