Daphne Goujon, 25, and her partner, Chris, 35, both from Orlando, were extremely saddened to learn that their planned outdoor wedding in Florida could not be held in April, as planned. Because of the isolation from the pandemic, they would not be able to travel, but that could not stop them from getting married. They really couldnâ??t make the dream wedding, but they found a way to continue with their plan, getting married on Facebook Live.

The ceremony was held at home and was attended live by 250 "guests", who were family and friends.

Daphne told the Daily Mail that the wedding was far more important to her than the wedding. She added that she felt nervous all day and that that ceremony, despite the circumstances, was very special to her.

Daphne did her own hair and makeup, while two friends helped with the filming. The wedding took place a few days before the strict isolation measures and the couple was also able to get the marriage certificate.

Now the couple only hope to be able to go to the Bahamas for their honeymoon scheduled for September.
