Brad Pitt broke up with Jennifer Aniston after they divorced, but his pardon paved the way for friendship after many years.
The 56-year-old Hollywood legend left the star of 'Friends', Jen for Angelina Jolie, 15 years ago and a few years later he talked about his ex and didn't say nice things.
In 2011, Brad spoke to Parade magazine and was so touching to Jennifer that he felt he had to apologize for the harsh words when they reunited.
"I wanted to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself. I think my marriage has to do with it. Trying to claim that marriage was something that wasn't," he said.
At the time, Brad showed no mercy for his ex-wife after saying he was more than happy with the decision to leave her for Angelina Jolie.
A few years later, Brad said, "I'm sorry it was interpreted that way. Jen is a very gifted, loving, and smiling woman who remains my friend."
According to Entertainment Tonight, a source said Brad went to Jen in 2016 to apologize for the interview.
