There are 2 categories of acne. It depends on whether they cause inflammation or not. This means that there are non-inflammatory acne and inflammatory acne. Inflammatory acne is more severe than non-inflammatory ones and most of the time, you should consult your doctor for treatment.
Find out what causes the most common types of acne before you go about it.
1. White dots.
These are non-inflammatory pimples or white spots that are usually surrounded by a red â??circleâ??. In some cases, the hairs may come out of the center or look clogged inside.
Causes: White spots are formed thanks to dirt, fat and dead skin cells that block the pores.
2. Black dots.
In contrast to white dots, black dots are small dark or black spots that appear as raised bumps. Usually, the skin surrounding the blackheads is normal and the center is darker.
Causes: Just because they are darker in color does not mean they have more dirt inside. It is simply a sign that the pores have enlarged and are caused by blocked hair glands.
3. Papules.
Papules are inflammatory pimples that are located under the surface of the skin. The skin surrounding these spots is usually red and swollen. They are raised, pink, solid or soft. But compared to the 2 types of non-inflammatory acne, they do not have a visible center and do not expand.
Causes :
a) Skin infection
b) Development of small blood vessels
c) Warts
ç) Eczema
d) Allergic reaction
4. Pustules, otherwise known as acne.
These are soft, large lumps that have a circular center. The center is filled with yellow / white pus, on a red skin base.
causes:
a) Allergic reaction most often to food, or environmental allergies
b) Insect bites (poisonous)
c) When the skin is blocked by dead skin cells and oily / oily skin
5. Nodes.
Pink, painful, and hard bumps deep under the skin are known as nodules. This type can become severe and can cause skin complications such as dark spots.
Causes: These are considered inflammatory acne and are formed when blocked pores damage cells and tissues deep below the surface of the skin.
6. Kiste.
When pustules become infected, they begin to become painful. This occurs when pustules become cysts. These consist of white or red lumps, painful, large or soft that are located deep in the skin, even deeper than nodules. Also, they are full of pus. In fact, these are thought to cause serious skin complications.
Cause : infected pustules.
