Jeremy Jordan revealed that his 14-year-old grandson tragically took his own life this week.
Actor Smash, 35, posted on Twitter to raise awareness about teen suicide, urging fans to pray for his family in a shocking post.
He wrote: "Please stop for a moment in the midst of the chaos and say a prayer for my family. A few days ago, my 14-year-old grandson took his own life. We are devastated."
"Adolescent suicide is a serious problem that we can't forget. Please talk to your children. Listen to them. Look for signs. Take action. They are the most vulnerable among us in these turbulent times. RIP Bubba."
In another Twitter post, Jeremy called on followers to talk to children to make sure this doesn't happen in their families.
The mother of the deceased teenager, Kasey, wrote on the 'GoFundMe' page: "Early this Monday morning, my beautiful 14-year-old son committed suicide."
She continued: â??I am trying to keep myself to the 16-year-old boy and my 5-month-old daughter along the way.
"Now of course I have to start big discussions about how to bury him as he deserves. I know our family just can't afford it. I hate that we have to ask for help."
For this, the actor has asked for help from everyone. The tragic news came after Jeremy became a father for the first time with his wife Ashley last year.
