
After months of isolation due to coronavirus pandemic, the first tourists arrived in Albania yesterday! The charter with 189 passengers on board departed from Minsk, the capital of Belarus, and arrived at Rinas airport. These tourists have chosen as their favorite destination for summer vacations, namely Albania, wonderful beaches, cuisine, and not only!

Also present to welcome the 189 tourists from Belarus was the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Blendi Klosi.

"I had the great pleasure to give a bouquet of 189 flowers as they are the first passengers who came to Albania today, fully filling the first charter, which not only came to Albania as the first tourist charter, but according to the information we have, it is probably the first tourist charter in Europe. It is very good that we started from Albania this regional activity, this European activity giving a lot of enthusiasm to the tourist sector in Albania. It is a great job that we have done in all these 2 months of pandemic to create the atmosphere to host more tourists in Albania to create accommodation structures, to create the rules of virus management that has not yet left Albania that even these words of welcome for the staff for the organizers for 'ALER group' that managed to bring the first group of tourists from Belarus and then from Ukraine and hope very much from Poland and other Baltic countries, to have a stable season in Albania ", Said Klosi.

As part of the relief measures, public beaches will be officially opened on June 15, while hotels for hotels have been open since June 10.
