Steve Bing has died at the age of 55, according to US media reports.

The producer of the movie "Kangaroo Jack" had a relationship with the British model Elizabeth Hurley, who gave them their son Damian.

The famous writer and producer died committing suicide on Monday after being thrown from the 27th floor of a luxury building in Los Angeles. Sources linked to him said he was depressed by the lack of human contact during quarantine.

Steve was the founder of Shangri-La Entertainment after leaving Stanford to pursue a career in Hollywood after inheriting about $ 600 million from his grandfather.

His first big revenue success came when he was the executive producer of Sylvester Stallone's Get Carter in 2000.

Former President Bill Clinton, a friend of Bing's, appeared to confirm the news of his death, saying "he had a big heart and was willing to do everything he could for the people and the causes he believed in."

In his honor, Mr. Clinton said, "I will miss his enthusiasm more than I can say, and I hope he has finally found peace."

He and Liz Hurley met in 2000 when Steve was 35 and Liz was 36. He earned it with private jets, regular gold Rolex watches, sapphires and diamond rings and along with all the expensive trips paid in New York and Europe.

But beyond the outward splendor, both Liz and her friends said she was â??very much in loveâ?? with him and even had a son, Damian, who is now 18 years old.

Bing also has a daughter, Kira Bonder, with Lisa Bonder, a tennis player.
