Security guards at a luxury hotel in Australia have been blamed for the spread of the second wave of coronavirus pandemic in the country after having sex with quarantined passengers.

Patients with COVID-19, who were staying at the 5-star Stamford Plaza Hotel in Melbourne, were asked to be isolated in their rooms for a period of 14 days after arriving in Australia at the height of the pandemic.

And now Melbourne is facing the second wave of coronavirus infections and residents are forced to stay inside or face a $ 1,625 fine.

Melbourne defeated the coronavirus in late April, and no new cases were reported until June 5.

But now the most affected cases are rising again. According to the investigation, 31 cases of touching are related to the luxury hotel Melbourne, where security guards were found to have sex with clients several times. They even sent some of the customers to populated shops and malls at 7-11.

Investigations show that there have been several cases of violations by hotel staff, including Stamford Plaza and Rydges on Swanston, where isolated travelers stayed.

Now Melbourne is isolated and police checkpoints have been set up across the city, just weeks after Australia celebrated winning the battle with Covid-19.
