Mold, in itself, is not so dangerous and the chances of getting sick are low. However, what can make you sick is the bacteria that grow along with it. You may be allergic to mold.

There are some people who have allergic reactions to the mold found in food. If you are sensitive, it is best to stay away from it, and if you eat it incorrectly, call your doctor right away. Symptoms that may be a sign of an allergic reaction are:
