Award-winning actor 'Tony' from Broadway, Nick Cordero, has died in Los Angeles due to complications from coronavirus. He was 41 years old.

Cordero died Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Hospital after spending more than 90 days in hospital, according to his wife, Amanda Kloots.

â??God has another angel in heaven now,â? she posted on Instagram. "Nicki was a bright light. He was a friend to everyone, he liked to listen, help and especially talk. He was an extraordinary actor and musician. He loved his family and adored being a father and a husband. "

Cordero entered the emergency room on March 30 and had multiple complications one after the other. A GoFundMe page helped pay for medical expenses by raising over $ 600,000.

Many other celebrities have written on their social media accounts about it. Cordero was very close to actor Zach Braff. "I can honestly tell you that I've never met a more polite human being," Braff wrote on Twitter and Instagram. "Don't believe that covid only affects the elderly and the sick."

Cordero played Earl in 'Waitress' and the role of Sonny in 'Chazz Palminteri's A Bronx Tale'. He met Kloots when he starred in 'Bullets Over Broadway' in 2014, a show in which she also performed. The two married in 2017. Their son Elvis was born in August 2019.
