Johnny Depp begged his ex-wife Amber Heard to cut him with a knife in the spinal cord. This was revealed by a recording that was heard in court.
Today is Depp's last day to give his testimony.
The 47-year-old actor has also sued the "News Group" newspapers, which he accuses of defamation against him. The newspapers had published an article calling her a "woman beater" in April 2018, which he denies.
According to court records, Depp begged his ex-wife, Amber, to cut him off.
In retaliation, Amber begged her ex-husband not to wait for her.
At one point during the recording, while the couple was talking, a cleaner intervened.
Sasha Wass QC, for The Sun, said Johnny threatened Heard he would cut himself in front of her.
Dep said, "I was asking her to wait for me. If she wasn't ready, I would do it myself."
Johnny and Amber were married in 2015 and divorced in 2017.
Depp denies being abusive to Heard at every point of their marriage.
