The official version of the cause of death of actress Naya Rivera, whose body was found yesterday in the waters of Lake Piru, has finally been made public.
Thus, in the report of the Ventura Medical Examination Office, it is said that the actress died by drowning, while no signs of alcohol or drugs were found on the body. The report further states:
"The autopsy findings fit the drowning and the condition of the body is consistent with the time she was submerged. No traumatic injuries or illness were identified at the autopsy. There is no indication from investigation or examination that drugs or alcohol played a role in her death. ", but the samples will be submitted for toxicology testing".
The late actress Rivera, was boating on Lake Piru on July 8, along with her four-year-old son Josey, when she was reported missing.
