Since mid-April, a 49-year-old Ecuadorian living in Italy has tested positive for coronavirus 15 times. The case was registered in Linate, where the husband lived for 20 years, as reported by Huffpost.

According to tests, Milko Mieles, 49, has Covid-19, but is asymptomatic. For this reason, since he could infect other people, he has lived in isolation since April 17, unable to go out or see his wife and children. "I'm demoralized," the man told La Stampa.

Mieles says he has been crying for weeks and even had an emotional crisis, due to ongoing results showing he is not yet free of the virus. Meanwhile, he has to stay in a center run by the Red Cross, where his case is constantly followed up.

"Time passes slowly here. In the morning I walk five kilometers in the garden, always alone [...] Then I read the news on the phone, watch TV, do video calls with my wife, whom I have not seen for three months, except through the screen phone ... I miss him very much ... My children too, ”said the patient.
