In recent months one of the events that has been widely covered in the international media is the media scandal of the famous program 'Ellen DeGeners Show'. Current and former employees have publicly and anonymously stated on the 'toxic work environment' in the program. He has recently broken the silence and one of the public figures working alongside Ellen, Andy Lassner.

The 53-year-old returned to Instagram for the first time in more than a month on Sunday, August 30, and posted a video in which he addressed his followers. Referring to his work alongside Ellen, he acknowledged that "several tough months have passed".

"When we go through these things, I think we learn more about ourselves and maybe even grow. But to say it has not been harsh, it would be a lie and I have always been honest with you. So the experience has "It was tough," Lassner said.

Near the end of the video, he reiterated that it was himself and that he would return to the program.

The post came less than two weeks after a Warner Bros. spokesman told 'E! News' that executive news producers Ed Glavin and Kevin Leman, as well as co-executive producer Jonathan Norman had left the show about a month after an internal investigation began ( read more ).

The investigation followed a mid-July report by 'BuzzFeed News' in which a current employee and 10 former employees of the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' anonymously claimed that the show had a 'toxic' work environment, while former employees accused executive producers for misconduct or sexual harassment.

'Variety', citing a source familiar with the program, reported that the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' has recently implemented several new policies for employees, including payment for extra hours. DeGeneres, who had no allegations made against her, also apologized to her staff.

The 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' is scheduled to return to air on September 9th.
