The preferred sleeping temperature, according to science, is very complicated. In general, experts recommend sleeping in a room which should be between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius, but not everyone can adapt to this environment. If the bedroom is too warm or too cold, not only will you not feel comfortable, but you will also have problems at night, so much so that your sleep cycle may be disrupted.
If you sleep with another person, it can be difficult to find the ideal temperature that suits you both. This is the moment when blankets come to the rescue. Add another one (or three) if you feel cold, to ensure a minimum temperature of 18 degrees Celsius (the temperature of your choice).
What if you happen to be discovered at night? Then the best solution is a warm room. But it is advised that everything be in moderation. You may not be able to sleep in a gnashing of teeth, but neither should you be so hot as to sweat all night long. Stay in an environment where you can feel your body cozy (18-22 degrees Celsius).
