Famous British actress Dame Diana Rigg has passed away at the age of 82. She will be remembered for her roles in "The Avengers" series as Emma Peel and in "Game of Thrones", where she played as Olenna Tyrell.

The 82-year-old's daughter, actress Rachael Stirling, said her mother died of cancer, a disease she was diagnosed with in March.

Diana Rigg will also be remembered for her role as Tracy in the 1969 film The Queen's Secret Service. The late actress is also the only woman to have starred in one of the James Bond movies and married in the role of Agent 007.

Many actors and directors have expressed their condolences for the death of the well-known actress.
