In an interview for The Sun, the Albanian singer Ava Max talked about her adolescence, which was not at all simple, as as an immigrant she had to face racism. Today she is a rising star, but once had it very hard to find support in a foreign country.

Ava has also told about the difficult beginnings in Great Britain in the song "Who's Laughing Now", through which she addresses the girls who constantly harassed and bullied her at school.

"You can not predict what the school for the children will be like ... It was really hard for me and I did not want to go to school. It was a gang of girls who really bullied me non-stop. Once they even put me in the corner in a toilet.Someone put my head in a toilet.

This was high school for me and I did not like it. I did not want to go to school and at one point I did not. "I started teaching at home."

While today, that she is trying to create a name on the international scene is facing comparisons, which she does not like. One of the artists with whom Ava Max is most often compared is Lady Gaga.

She thinks it is "strange" for people to compare artists to each other and insists that something like this should not happen.

Although she really likes Lady Gaga, she says it is strange to compare two singers because they have the same hair color and make pop music.
