The 14-year-old son of William Levy and Elizabeth Gutierrez, Christopher Levy is in a Florida hospital after an accident he suffered over the weekend in Weston. The teenager is with his parents and under enhanced medical care.
Univision entertainment show "El Gordo y la Flaca" reported that a golf cart with which Christopher was traveling overturned, causing him multiple injuries on Sunday. The teenager was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he underwent an operation.
After a long silence, Elizabeth and William reacted just a few hours ago on social media, posting photos with her son and writing the same status.
"Thank you all for praying for our son Christopher as a family without knowing us. May God heal Christopher and the other boys completely and quickly. With the Lord all things are possible, and he protects his servants who call on him. Christopher is a child of faith. We know God was there with him and the other children and we have nothing but words of gratitude to God that never forsakes us! We hope to heal Christopher so that he continues to be a shining light on the baseball field and in all areas of life. Whenever Christopher shines on the field, he thanks the Lord, honors him, and inspires others to do good and have faith in the Lord. He is a leader! Always have the wisdom to use the blessings of God to bless others. Amen! "
