Kim Kardashian has revealed in one of the episodes of David Letterman's show on Netflix, that the series 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' is not her main source of income.

Kim clarified that she is able to make more money from her instagram posts than from an entire KUWKTK season.

"We would not be who we are today without 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' and that is why we continue to share our lives with the public," she told the 73-year-old presenter. "Although realistically we can post something on social media and earn more than we earn an entire season."

According to TMZ, the Kardashian-Jenner family renewed their contract for another five seasons in 2017, for a sum of $ 150 million. Except for Chris Jenner who earns more as her daughters' manager, every other member of the family earns roughly $ 4.5 million a season.

Various brands and advertisers can pay Kim Kardashian up to $ 500,000 for an Instagram post. So it may only take a few posts to spend the amount she earns in a season.

Earlier this month, Forbes reported that Kim Kardashian 's fortune reached $ 780 million, making her the richest member of the family.
