Sam Smith has talked about his plans to start a family. The 28-year-old musician wants to become a parent at the age of 35.
"I love children. I love everyone. I want to have children," Smith told The Zane Lowe Show.
"I want to be with the kids, watch them grow up and be with them every day. I want to be a mom."
The artist also plans to balance the music industry with the children he will have in the future.
"I will definitely do it in a moment, but I still have a lot inside me. I still have ambitions. I still want to sing to people and do this work. It is an amazing feeling."
Meanwhile, Smith also stated that he is looking to find the right partner.
The Grammy winner added - "I will continue to work until then and hope to find a boyfriend but he is nowhere in London. I have been looking all over the country. Honestly, I have been on the front line for three good years and that is exhausting. "
In May 2014, Smith went public as a gay and admitted a relationship - which has ended - with actor and model Jonathan Zeizel.
