The Deputy Minister of Health, Mira Rakacolli, in a recent public announcement on the situation of Covid-19, has announced that the Technical Committee of Experts is evaluating the partial closure of the activities of bars and restaurants in hot areas such as the Bloc in Tirana - one of the most dangerous hotbeds for the spread of COVID-19.

"At the same time, the Technical Committee is evaluating the closure of bars and cafes in the area of â??â??Bllok in Tirana after 22.00, given that there is a potential high risk of gatherings in that area during the night," said Rakacolli.

Rakacolli said that the situation in the last 2 weeks is presented with an increase in the number of cases, which coincide with the opening of schools, bars, restaurants and at the same time with the phase of easing the austerity measures.

" In the meeting held a few moments ago, the Technical Committee of Experts analyzed the situation and risks, we assessed the situation in the region and Europe, the measures taken by these countries, the implementation of measures in our country, the progress of the epidemic in the country and we decided unanimously propose that universities conduct only online teaching, ie distance learning only, without physical presence at least for the first month of opening, assessing the situation in dynamics. The halls and dormitories will be closed until a second decision " , said Rakacolli.
