The famous DJ becomes a father, introduces his newborn daughter

DJ Tiësto has become a father!

Famous Dutch DJ, 51, (whose real name is Tijs Michiel Verwest) and his wife, model Annika Backes, 24, welcomed their first child. The news was announced by Dj himself on his social networks on Thursday. The couple, who got married in September 2019, introduced the girl through some photos, also revealing her name, Viola Margreet.

Tiësto said the child "was awakened by feelings he never knew he had inside."

"Greet my daughter Viola Margreet Verwest ... She has awakened feelings I never knew I had inside me," he wrote on Instagram. "And her mother @annikaverwest is a real champion. How can you look so beautiful since you were just born ?!"

Annika shared more photos on her Instagram page, writing:

"The best feeling in the world ... I love you so much Viola Verwest."

Tiësto and Annika met at the Catch restaurant in New York City in 2015 and got engaged in 2018 during Thanksgiving.
