The love story of Prince Charles and Princess Diana was never like a fairy tale, according to Penny Thornton. Penny, an astrologer consulted by Diana, recently made a surprising statement in the new ITV documentary, "The Diana Interview: Revenge of a Princess", which will be broadcast in the UK.

"One of the most shocking things Diana told me was that the night before the wedding, Charles told her he didn't like her," she said, according to People. "I think Charles did not want to marry on a false premise. He wanted to make it clear to her and that was devastating for Diana. She did not want to continue the wedding at that moment, she thought not to attend the wedding."

The documentary focuses on Princess Diana's famous 1995 interview with the BBC after she and Prince Charles split. During the interview with reporter Martin Bashir, Diana admitted that she and Prince Charles had a relationship outside of their marriage. Prince Charles continued the relationship with his current wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles.

When asked if the issue of Prince Charles and Camilla was a "factor" in the end of the marriage, Princess Diana replied, "Well, there were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit overcrowded." She also confirmed rumors of her relationship with former British cavalry officer James Hewitt. "Yes, I adored him. Yes, I was in love with him," she said after being asked about James.
