Dave Prowse, the former 'bodybuilder' instructor in 'Bristolian', now best known for his role as Darth Vader in the popular 'Star Wars' series, has passed away at the age of 85.
 
Foreign media confirm the news of his death, after an illness with which he struggled for some time.

 
Prowse was given the role as Vader for his compelling physique. But the weightlifter, turned into an actor, felt more proud of the role -Green Man Code Man. The role he played in promoting road safety in the UK.
 
"Although famous for playing many monster roles - for me and everyone who knew Dave and worked with him, he was a hero in our lives," said his manager, Thomas Bowington.
