Justin Bieber is going through a period of reflection on the mistakes he has made in the past. The 26-year-old singer wrote a few words on Instagram, going back to 2014, the time of his arrest, and showed how his relationship with God has helped him become a better person.
"7 years ago like today I was arrested. It was not my best period. I'm not proud of what I was in my life. I was hurt, unhappy, confused, angry, cheated, misunderstood and angry with God, "Bieber wrote, along with a photo of him bent over and handcuffed.

Following the arrest, Bieber was able to evade jail, pleading guilty to a lesser charge, negligent driving. The pop star also made a charity donation and agreed to take anger management lessons.
This is not the first time Bieber has reflected on his arrest in the past. In 2017, the singer wrote on Instagram that he had grown a lot since his arrest.
