Former member of Babastars and well-known businessman from Kosovo Albert Krasniqi was killed around 17:00 yesterday, after being shot by his father, Skënder Krasniqi.
The media have indicated that it was Skënder Krasniqi himself who informed the police immediately after the event, asking them to go and get him after he killed his son.
The full circumstances of the event have not been clarified yet, but the media has said that everything happened in a parking lot in the center of Prishtina. It is learned that the victim was wanted by the police after being accused of violence against his ex-wife Besa Gashi (Miss Kosova 2006), with whom he also has a daughter.
The reason that brought about the serious event has not been confirmed yet, but (referring to Top Channel) Ismet Krasniqi, the uncle of the deceased, said that the murder happened accidentally. According to him, Albert had bought a pistol, which he showed to his father. The latter, not knowing that the weapon had a bullet inside, fired it, thus causing the tragedy.
