A 67-year-old man awaiting trial for the robbery of American star Kim Kardashian in Paris four years ago, has told it all in a book, presenting his life story, which includes the robbery. " Everything went normally," he said.

Yunice Abbas, one of the 12 arrested for stealing Kim's jewelry, while the latter was in a luxury mansion in Paris, where he would attend the 2016 Fashion Week. As the title of the book makes clear, Abbas has no plans to challenge the charges against him in court, which is expected to take place this year.

The robbery in question was the largest, committed against an individual in France over two decades. About 9 million euros. Most of Kardashian's personal belongings were never found. Police were able to save only a diamond-encrusted cross, which Abbas fell to during his bicycle escape.

On October 3, 2016, he and 4 other men, aged 60-72, were to enter Kim's residence around 2:30 p.m. Kardashian confessed that one of them, who was wearing a jacket, tied him with a plastic cable and put adhesive tape on him, before forcing him to enter the bathtub.

Abbas points out that the whole event took place quickly and ended without any problems.

"We finished work quickly, maybe five, six, seven minutes. "Kim handed over the jewelry without resistance ," he said.

But he was the last to leave the crime scene and as he stepped outside, he found himself face to face with a police patrol.

"I was closing the door and they saw me, so I gave a small sign, like a greeting," he said. "I looked calm, at least I tried and it worked."

After spending 22 months behind bars, a judge acquitted him for health reasons and Abbas now hopes the jury will be generous with him after he underwent heart surgery.
