Thanks to their beautiful and expensive clothes, it makes it easier to think that celebrities use the latest technology. But Justin Bieber recently revealed that he actually does not even have a phone.
In a recent interview, the 27-year-old singer explained that he made the decision to get rid of his cell phone so that he was not constantly in contact. Instead he uses an iPad to contact his team.
"I've learned how to have boundaries and I just don't feel like I owe anyone anything," he told Billboard in a new interview. "It has helped me to be determined and know that my heart [wants] to help people, but I can not do everything."
He explained that he finishes work at 6pm to hang out with partner Hailey Bieber and gets up at 8am, the only time he communicates with his team (instead of being on the phone all the time.)
Speaking about reason, the singer said he was putting the emphasis on finding a worthy balance between work and life. "I just changed my priorities so as not to [become] another statistic of young musicians 'giving up,'" he said.
