The report of the United Nations regarding the happiest countries in the world has been published. Finland tops the list as the happiest country in the world. Meanwhile, regarding Albania, our country ranks 63rd.

According to the WHR, the Nordic countries dominate the global list while the UK falls five places to 18th place and last ranked Zimbabwe.

As for Kosovo, it ranks 31st, far ahead of us as well as Serbia which ranks 42nd.

The Nordic countries dominated the World Happiness Report in the year of the pandemic, with Finland, Iceland and Denmark occupying the first three places while Sweden was sixth and Norway eighth.

While New Zealand was also in the top ten after practically declaring victory over the coronavirus pandemic. Iceland, which also escaped the pandemic quite easily, was ranked second, overtaking Denmark which came in third.

The five Nordic countries, including Sweden and Norway, have all been in the top ten of World Happiness Reports surveys each year since 2013.

However, the researchers said the changes in the overall ranking had been relatively modest, saying it was 'extraordinary that the averages are so stable'.

The study was conducted by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network supported by the United Nations and the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University.
