At the age of 59, the former Prime Minister, Socialist Party MP elected in 6 legislatures, Bashkim Fino, passed away.
Finos's life was cut short after weeks of fighting the deadly virus, COVID-19. He was hospitalized, but could not win this battle. Bashkim Fino lost his life as a result of a cardiac arrest caused by COVID.
His departure has caused pain on all sides of politics, also due to the fact that he was distinguished as a moderate politician.
Tributes will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Palace of Congresses.
