People in northern Russia are worried about some of the potholes that have been created. Giant craters, known by experts as "black holes", have suddenly appeared in some areas of Western Siberia.
At first glance they look stunning, but often times have created fear among people and even scientists.
One of the craters opened last year, while a large number took decades to form. According to researchers some of the pits are about 30 meters deep, while some of them have become lakes.
According to an anthropologist, there were tundra and no lake in the area. According to him, they were created over time also due to some phenomena on earth.
However, the locals have considered one of these giant pits as a sacred place.
