Jennifer Aniston and the Frinds have just completed the long-awaited reunion episode. But shortly after that, European tabloids began to claim that Aniston was adopting a child.
The news received a direct comment from Aniston's representative, denying the reports.
"Rumors about Jennifer about the process of adopting a child are false and have never happened."
Aniston has long been the subject of fake pregnancy news and constant coverage of her love life (especially her relationship with Brad Pitt).
In her interview with ELLE in January 2019, Aniston spoke candidly about the media treatment of being single and the characterization of her past marriage to Pitt.
"My marriages, they have been very successful, in my personal opinion, " she said. "And when they ended, it was a choice made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness no longer existed in that connection. Of course, there were problems, and not every moment felt fantastic, obviously, but at the end of it, we have a life and I would not stand in a situation out of fear. Fear of being alone. Fear that you may not survive. Staying in a marriage based on fear seems like it is hurting your life. It is not a failure. We have these clichés about all this that need to be reworked and rediscovered, you know? "Because it is a very narrow opinion."
