Alessandra Galloni is the woman who for the first time in 170 years takes over the running of the newsroom at the famous British company "Reuters".

Galloni, who will direct the news in this agency, has Italian citizenship.

Alessandra Galloni is experienced in economics and politics and knows 4 foreign languages. Prior to joining Reuters in 2013 as director of the Correspondents Network, she wrote about 200 worldwide, she wrote for the Wall Street Journal. He graduated from Harvard with a master's degree from the London School of Economics.
