A topless woman has reportedly been arrested outside the gates of Windsor Castle, where Prince Philip's funeral was taking place.

An unusual protester ran in front of a crowd near the castle after the silence they were holding in honor of the Duke of Edinburgh.

The woman ran while shouting "save the planet" as the crowd began to applaud after the silence.

She jumped on a statue of Queen Victoria before police officers removed her from the scene, on Castle Hill.

Hundreds of people joined in paying homage to Prince Philip, who lined up outside the castle.

Armed officers stationed above the buildings watched the crowds.

A police spokeswoman told the Mirror: "At around 3.05pm, Thames Valley Police arrested a 55-year-old woman from West Sussex on suspicion of using threatening / abusive words / behaviors that could cause harassment, alarm or harassment. '
