Five people have been arrested for the violent theft of two French bulldogs belonging to singer Lady Gaga. In February, assailants shot her dog walker, Ryan Fischer, in the chest and took dogs named Koji and Gustav. Thankfully Fischer survived the attack but had to have part of his lung removed.

Three people were arrested as suspects in the incident and two others as accomplices.

James Jackson, Jaylin White and Lafayette Whaley - aged 18, 19 and 27 respectively - have been charged with attempted murder and robbery.

Harold White, 40, (Jaylin White's father) and Jennifer McBride, 50, were also charged with aiding and abetting the assassination attempt. McBride returned the dogs to police two days after the theft, after Lady Gaga had offered a $ 500,000 reward for their return.

According to a press release from Los Angeles police, detectives discovered that McBride had an affair with Harold White. The attackers knew the great value of dogs and knew that Fischer worked for Lady Gaga.

Fischer was walking three dogs in a residential area of ??Hollywood overnight when the attackers stopped by a car. He was shot in the chest with a pistol and two of the dogs were taken. Another of Lady Gaga bulldogs, Asia, was not harmed by the incident.
