Ellen DeGeneres told the Hollywood Reporter that she plans to end her show, ELLEN TV SHOW , in 2022.
"When you are a creative person, you have to be constantly challenged - and how great this show is, and how fun it is, but it is no longer a challenge," DeGeneres said in an interview published Wednesday. When we made the 3000 show, we were all thrilled. "We hugged each other with tears in our eyes, but the time has come, even though it will be difficult."
DeGeneres also said she is thinking about her next professional steps.
"I have some ideas, but my agent says, 'Why don't you just sit for a minute. So exhausted do you know what it means to sit.' "And I do not know how long I will be able to do it because now I'm like a Ferrari. I constantly need to move forward."
