During a podcast with Dax Shepard Armchair Expert, Prince Harry spoke openly about some important issues of his mental health. Among other things, he also confessed some unspoken things about the beginnings of his relationship with Meghan Markle.
He recalled the times when they met secretly while trying to keep their relationship a secret in England.
"The first time Meghan and I met, when she came to hang out with me, we met in a supermarket in London. Pretending we didn't know each other, we texted each other across the shelves," he said. There were people looking at me, looking at me strangely and approaching me, greeting me or saying something else. I was there, sending messages. So it was beautiful. "I had a baseball cap and I was looking down at the floor… trying not to be recognized," he confessed.
However, everything has changed tremendously since they moved to Santa Barbara, where they can live peacefully, together with their son.
"Living here now, I can actually raise my head and really feel different. The weight from my shoulders has dropped. So it is with Meghan. I can walk feeling a little freer. Can I get the Archie on the back of my bike. "I have never had the opportunity to do that."
Harry talked about how Meghan had not expected that she would not be able to live her life normally when she married him. He added that Meghan, now that she knows royal life, says: "You do not need to be a princess. You can create a life that can be better than any princess."
