It is not the first time that Gerta Heta and Matko Djarmati tell their story of acquaintance in public, but today, from the section "My Half" in the show "Albanian Sunday", the couple revealed some features of a relationship of several years, which can rarely share them with everyone.
For years, Gerta and Matko live a happy marriage, which is also blessed with two daughters, Luna and Matea. But the latter, today would enjoy together with her twin sister, who, unfortunately could not live. Gerta does not want to talk much about this sad event, but she remembers with pain that her loss was a tragedy that took away a part of her.
When asked by Gjebrea about the name of the girls, Gerta answered that Matko had left this right to choose:
" I gave Matko 5 options and Matko preferred Luna. I had a list, I told him to choose from these five, I like the fifth, choose you, I leave the choice of the girl to you and Matko has chosen it.
As for Matea, because we were pregnant with twins, we would put Gea names like Gerta, Matko-Matea, that is, with the first two letters of the name " - says Gerta.
But, unfortunately, only one of the twins could survive.
" It was a dark period of life that is not that I do not talk about it, but it is an old woman who is always there and every time we talk about it, I am teased. But thank God, we only have Matean and we sound good that it could have been even worse. Yes, we lost one of the girls and I told Matko that the moment he lost Gea, let's give it to the girl who lives named Matea because with the loss of Gea, Gerta also lost. That is, Gerta-Gea, with her death, a part of me also died " .
