The pupils of the eye react not only to light but also depending on the senses. According to researchers, their size is also an indicator of intelligence.
Many things can be understood from the pupils of the eye, because the pupils not only widen or narrow according to the amount of light but also change depending on our emotional state.
The pupils dilate e.g. not only when it is dark, but also when we are extremely excited or stressed, when we feel disgust or fear.
Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology have now discovered that there is also a correlation between pupil size and human intelligence (IQ).
They conducted an experiment with 500 people between the ages of 18 and 35. The result: the larger the pupils, the better the individuals performed on the various intelligence tests.
