Bill Gates, for the first time, has spoken openly about his divorce, in an off-record interview, at Allen & Co, the summer camp of millionaires. One attendee said it was an exciting moment and Bill was on the verge of tears.
That's after CNBC host Becky Quic asked the billionaire about his divorce from Melinda, his 27-year-old wife, and the future of the Gates Foundation.
Bill had expressed that the divorce happened through his fault.
Not everyone in attendance was impressed with Gate's general attitude, however, one attendee said Gates seemed anxious and very touched when talking about the subject.
According to sources present, Bill did not mention the word betrayal at any point during the discussion.
