Netflix will not only be a platform for movies and series, but will also offer video games.

According to Bloomberg, the company has hired Mike Verdu, a former executive of Oculus and EA, as vice president of game development.

The company reportedly will build its gaming team in the coming months to be able to start offering games for broadcast within the next year.

Bloomberg says the company will not make a separate platform for its upcoming games, but will instead make them available alongside its shows and movies in their category. Also, the broadcasting giant reportedly has no plans for an additional fee for access to the games, although it is unclear whether the additional content will lead to a price increase in the future.
