After a report claimed that Kanye West compares his marriage to ex-partner Kim Kardashian to a "prison" on his new album, Page Six revealed that this is not true.
Multiple sources confirm for Page Six that West says nothing negative about Kim on the new album, and certainly does not compare himself to being imprisoned.
West, 44, hosted an evening presentation of the album in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Kanye West burst into tears on stage as she presented the songs and it was the song about Kim Kardashian that touched her the most.
The song is titled "Welcome to my life" and describes the moments from his divorce to the failed attempts to become president of America. Fewer words recount the whole difficult situation of the last two years.
" Kanye actually sang the song for Kim personally before the party, " a person close to the former couple told Page Six. "It was very emotional and not at all negative."
In fact, West and Kardashian are the parents of four children and maintain friendships with each other, even making a family trip to San Francisco over the weekend.
The album bears the name of West's late mother, who died in 2007 from complications after cosmetic surgery. She was 58 years old.
