We all know quite well what is good and what is not for our body. We know we need to have a balanced diet, which contains healthy carbohydrates, proteins and fats. We need to make a lot of vegetables in the diet at every meal leaving the right spaces for meat or fish as well. It is a good thing to know what is good or not, but sometimes you can find yourself in front of the plate without knowing if the food you are tempting is good or bad for your body. Then what is bad food?
According to dietitian Keri Glassman, eating a hot dog, hamburger, or any type of processed meat meal for dinner can be one of the worst things to eat at the last meal of the day. Not only does processed meat have a high sodium content, but also because such foods are rich in saturated fats (fat which makes the stomach bigger).
The farther you stay from processed meats such as sausages, the less likely you are to be at risk for serious colon and heart disease.
