The heat wave that started on Monday will continue in the coming days, recording high temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday, which will be felt up to 48 degrees. The north of the country and the central area will be most affected by the heat wave.

" It's likely to be the hottest week of the whole summer. Temperatures will range between 40 and over 40 degrees. Wednesday and Thursday will be the hottest days of the week. Temperatures will go up to 43 degrees. "A slight, but not significant discount is expected on the weekend" , - weather forecaster Lajda Porja told 'News 24'.

" This July is similar to the summer of 2016 and the hottest of the last four years. Elbasan, Berat and Gjirokastra will be the three cities where temperatures will reach peak ", - added Porja.

Meanwhile, doctors advise that during these hot days, children and the chronically ill, who show more problems in their health, reduce movements during peak hours, from 11:00 to 17:00, and consume as much more fluids.
