An entrepreneur who spent years struggling to survive, without a job and a home, has talked about how a hobby he discovered as a child made him a millionaire.

Harry Sanders, 23, of Australia, spent years surfing the couch as a teenager, leaving his home when he was just 17 when his parents divorced.

He found himself "inside and outside" government houses and even lived on the streets for a year, with no one to support him.

At the time, the only thing Sanders had in his name was StudioHawk, a search engine optimization (SEO) company, that he had created while in school.

Harry said he had grown "amazed" at websites and had discovered his passion for SEO while working a part-time job at an agency.

Sanders had an old laptop and a "cheap cell phone" and he went to his 'homeless' shelter to use Wi-Fi and electricity.

It cost him a lot of time and work, until in a short time StudioHawk turned into a company.

It took a year before Harry had enough money to go to a rented house to share with others, and in his first year he said he was "lucky to win $ 30,000."

But in 2019, StudioHawk doubled its revenue to 1.6 million.

"Going from nothing to this stage has been a crazy journey and it is so surreal to get on planes and do all these things when not so long ago I was literally trying to get $ 10 for food," he said. he for News.com.au

But the millionaire says he is not taking anything for granted.

He added: "Making all this money now is great, but it does not seem real to me. I have a company worth millions of dollars, but sometimes I find myself worrying about $ 3, wondering," do you really need that? "

Year after year the company started to grow. He points out that in 2019 he managed to earn about $ 3 million in profits.
