In a time of pandemics like this, when there are still many unknowns about Covid-19, but there is also endless information about everything, many people become confused about the things they should or should not believe.

The issue that has raised the most debate recently is that of vaccination. There are many myths circulating that people tend to believe. One of these myths is the fact that "vaccinating others protects me too, so I do not need to be vaccinated."

To clarify once and for all that this is a myth, the Head of Infectious Diseases Service, Najada Çomo has published a video message, where she emphasizes that we continue to be exposed to the virus as long as we are not vaccinated, regardless of whether friends, family or other relatives have made the vaccine. The doctor has called for vaccination, as most of the people hospitalized, some of them in serious condition, are not vaccinated.

"On the contrary, the virus is among us and we are exposed to the COVID-19 virus. A part of the persons have not been vaccinated yet and of course those persons who have not been vaccinated, a certain number of cases are hospitalized, some of which are in a serious condition. "So my call is: Get vaccinated, to save lives," said Najada Çomo.
